Connect to Google Analytics account and select Property to monitor. Track costs, return on investment, reach and individual ad performance.

Notes
Use your standard Google Analytics login to start collecting data. Select one of the properties (websites) to monitor. Octoboard only require read-only access.

If you want to collect data for multiple logins, you should use a premium version of Octoboard that supports multiple logins per application (for more details visit Octoboard pricing page).

IMPRESSIONS AND CLICKS

Ad Impression, Clicks and Click-Through Rate over time.
Description
Impressions is the number of times your ads have been displayed to your audience.

Clicks is the number of times users clicked on your Google ads.

Click-Through Rate (CTR) is the ratio of ad clicks relative to Impressions

CTR = Total Ad Clicks % Impressions
Tips
Select ad account, ad campaign or an individual ad in the widget configuration screen.

COST OVERVIEW

Ad Cost, Cost Per Click and Cost Per Transaction over time.
Description
Ad Cost is the total spend on your Adwords and Campaigns.

Cost Per Click (CPC) - Adwords spend divided by ad clicks.

CPC = Adwords Spend / Ad Clicks

Cost Per Transaction - Adwords spend divided by number of transactions.

Cost Per Action = Adwords spend / Number of Transactions

RETURN ON INVESTMENT

Adwords Return On Investment (ROI) tracked over time.
Description
This widget displays ads cost and revenue from ads on the same scale. Cost is expressed in Cost Per Click (CPC) metric.

CPC = Adwords Spend / Ad Clicks

Revenue is displayed as Revenue Per Click (RPC) over time, ie how much revenue is brought by each click.

RPC = Total Transaction Revenue / Number of Clicks
Tips
Keep monitoring your ROI and make sure your investment into Google Adwords is paying off.

Description
Impressions presented as value or historical trend - Line, Bar or Area graph.

CLICKS

Adwords clicks over time.
Description
Adwords campaign or ad group clicks over time (total number of times users have clicked on an ad to reach the property).

CLICK THROUGH RATE

Click-Through Rate (CTR) over time.
Description
Click-Through Rate over time for all or selected campaigns or ad group (the number of clicks divided by the number of impressions for the ad).

CTR = Total Ad Clicks % Impressions

COST

Adwords cost over time.
Description
Ads cost displayed as numeric value or in a graph tracking your spend over time.

COST PER CLICK

Cost Per Click over time.
Description
Cost per click over time for all or selected campaigns or ad group.

CPC = Adwords Spend / Ad Clicks
Tips
This is a very important metric. Place Revenue Per Click widget next to Cost Per click to view your Return On Investment trend. Alternatively, select Adwords ROI widget.

REVENUE PER CLICK

Adwords revenue per click (RPC) over time.
Description
Revenue Per Click over time, ie how much revenue is brought by each click.

RPC = Total Transaction Revenue / Number of Clicks

COST PER MILLE

Cost per 1000 impressions (CPM) over time.
Description
Cost per thousand impressions over time (also know as Cost per mille or CPM). CPM = Ad cost / (Number of ad impressions / 1000).

Cost Per Transaction (CPT) tracked over time.
Description
The cost per transaction (CPT) for all or selected ad campaign or ad group. CPT = Ad cost / Number of transactions.
