ВКонтакте (или просто ВК) - это крупнейшая Европейская социальная сеть. По состоянию на январь 2017 года ВК насчитывало не менее 410 миллионов аккаунтов.

В ВК мы можем отслеживать показатели для ПРОФИЛЕЙ и СООБЩЕСТВ.

ПРОФИЛИ в ВК очень похожи на профили в Facebook. В профиле могут быть Друзья (люди, чьи заявки в друзья вы приняли) и Посетители (люди, которые не являются вашими друзьями в ВК, но которые подписаны на ваш профиль).

СООБЩЕСТВА могут быть следующих типов:

  • Группа - Подходит для обсуждений и обмена идеями
  • Публичная страница - Идеально подходит для распространения новостей и информации.
  • Событие - Удобно для организации концертов и вечеринок

В Сообществах могут быть Участники (люди, которые подают заявки и получают членство в группе) и Посетители (люди, которые время от времени посещают и читают контент группы).

We use Engagement to rank your VKontakte content. Latest Posts widget sorts posts by time of creation. Most recent posts are at the top.

Post Engagement is calculated using the sum of weighted user actions. We applied different weightings to actions. Because comments, for example, are more valuable than Likes.

Post Engagement = (Likes x 1 + Reposts x 10 + Comments x 20)

Reach is the number of people who received impressions of a post. Reach might be less than impressions since one person can see multiple impressions. For example, if a person sees a Page update in News Feed and then sees that same update when a friend shares it that would represent a reach count of one.

Watch out for your Reach and keep an eye on Subs and Unsubs. If community Reach goes up but number of Unsubs increases, it means you are showing your content to more people, but your current subscribers are leaving you. Identify these moment, find content that causes Unsubs and work on its Relevance.

Engagement Rate is a metric that is used heavily in analyzing social media. Because the engagement rate is calculated relative to the number of followers a company has on social media (or number of views), the rate for both small and large companies can be compared equally.

Engagement Rate = (Shares + Likes + Comments) / Reach

REACH is a great metric. It tells you how many people are shown (reached by) your content (or ads). Use REACH to evaluate and fine-tune definitions of your ad campaigns. It is useful correlated your REACH with user ACTIONS (such as clicks). If your content REACH grows but ACTION RATE declines this could be an indication of low content relevance or quality.

Community growth rate is the rate of subscribers growth relative to the total size of your community.

Daily Growth Rate = New Subscribers Per Day / Total Number of Subscribers

If you are only starting with VK, your initial community size will be small and it will be practically multiplying initially. Expect Growth Rate to be very high.

Once your community "matures", the increase of subscribers relevant to community size will be less pronounced - this is normal.

This metric is more useful for older communities. Once you reach that stage, keep an eye on Growth rate, make sure it stays constant. If it drops, it means something is wrong. Check Relevance of your content. The best way to view it is to analyze your Audience - age, gender, location. Platform provide these metrics too.
